The Clinical Educator is responsible for each Amazing Care office. The clinical mentor works closely with the clinical managers to provide feedback on the status of new and existing employees. Identifies opportunities for improvement in the orientation program or process, and participates in the development and implementation of teaching tools and programs designed to raise the knowledge base of our clinicians in order to bring the highest value to our patients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), or RN with equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess a current Colorado State Registered Nurse license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Minimum 3-years recent professional nursing experience in clinical,administrative or teaching capacity.
  • Minimum 2-years home health nursing.
  • Proficient in use of computer applications
  • Must have the ability to teach in a constructive manner, and the desire to work with the clinical team to assure high quality clinical standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and with a team.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Coordinate, implement and evaluate the orientation and educational programs for home health team members.
  • Provide requested instructor educational resources and materials for the home health teams
  • Provide education, training and support in the use of NetSmart, in the classroom and in the field and acts as a super user and resource to all NetSmart users.
  • Acts as a clinical resource to management and clinical staff
  • Responsible for the implementation of the clinical support and mentoring program for all field staff, and works in the field with clinicians to assure that Amazing Care's clinical standards are being met.
  • Participates in the education and training of new and existing clinicians.
  • Provides feedback to the clinical managers regarding ongoing development of their staff.
